Instructions

Step 1: Preparation and Assembly

  1. Cook 1 lb bulk sausage in a skillet and crumble; drain thoroughly on paper towels.
  2. Beat 8 eggs, 1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk, and 1 cup milk slightly in a mixing bowl. Add 2 cups white bread cubes, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 2 cups sharp cheese.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13” casserole dish.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight (make Christmas Eve).

Step 2: Baking
