Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Mix Wet Ingredients

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a loaf pan or an 8x8 inch square pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the 4 large eggs and 1 cup sugar together until light and combined.
  3. Stir in the 3/4 cup vegetable oil and 1/4 cup water until smoothly incorporated.

Step 2: Combine and Bake

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the 2 1/5 cups all-purpose flour and 2 teaspoons baking powder.
  2. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently until just combined without overworking the batter.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
