Step 1: Infusion
- In a large pot, combine 3 qt water, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 24 whole cloves, and 2 cinnamon sticks.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
- Remove from heat, add 3 tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes until the tea is strong.
Step 2: Finishing
- Stir in 1 can frozen lemonade and 1 can frozen orange juice until fully melted and incorporated.
- Transfer to a crock pot to keep warm for serving, or serve immediately.
- If desired, stir in a splash of rum or brandy into individual mugs before serving.
