Instructions

Step 1: Infusion

  1. In a large pot, combine 3 qt water, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 24 whole cloves, and 2 cinnamon sticks.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
  3. Remove from heat, add 3 tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes until the tea is strong.

Step 2: Finishing

  1. Stir in 1 can frozen lemonade and 1 can frozen orange juice until fully melted and incorporated.
  2. Transfer to a crock pot to keep warm for serving, or serve immediately.
  3. If desired, stir in a splash of rum or brandy into individual mugs before serving.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: The base can be prepared in advance and reheated in a crock pot; add the spirits just before serving to maintain the flavor profile.
