Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Base

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups water and 1 cup sugar to a boil. Boil for about 2 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved and a light syrup forms.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in 12 oz frozen orange juice, 12 oz frozen lemonade, 1 cup strong tea, and 1/2 cup lemon juice until the frozen concentrates are fully melted and combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool completely to room temperature, then stir in 1 cup bourbon.

Step 2: Freeze and Serve

  1. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight until it reaches a firm, scoopable slush consistency.
  2. When ready to serve, scoop the frozen bourbon slush into a glass until it is about 3/4 full.
  3. Top off the glass with lemon-lime soda and stir gently to combine before enjoying.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: This slush can be kept frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Simply scoop and serve directly from the freezer as needed.
