Instructions

Step 1: Macerate the Fruit

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the 1 cup fresh peach slices and 1 orange, sliced. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup powdered sugar over the fruit and stir gently to coat. Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes to draw out the juices.

Step 2: Combine and Serve

  1. Pour the 1/2 cup peach brandy and the 1 bottle (750ml) dry red wine into the pitcher. Stir everything together until well combined.
  2. Just before you are ready to serve, gently pour in the 1 1/2 cups club soda or seltzer water.
  3. Serve immediately in glasses filled with as needed cracked ice. Garnish with the fruit slices from the pitcher and a as needed mint sprigs if desired.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Macerate the fruit and brandy base up to a day in advance, but add the chilled red wine and club soda just before serving to maintain effervescence.
