Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dip

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash 1 can shrimp (drained) with a fork.
  2. Add 1/2 medium onion (finely chopped), a few dashes of Tabasco sauce, and cayenne pepper to suit.
  3. Stir in enough Miracle Whip to bind the mixture into a smooth paste.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for several hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 2: Prepare the Toast Fingers

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Butter both sides of the bread fingers.
  3. Bake at 325°F for 15 to 20 minutes, then turn and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: This dip must be made several hours in advance and refrigerated to allow the flavors to fully develop. Serve chilled with warm toast fingers.
