Instructions

Step 1: Mix and Bake

  1. Combine the 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, 2 Tbsp milk, 1 (2 1/2 oz) dried beef, 1/4 cup green pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 Tbsp onion, and 1/2 cup sour cream and mix until well blended.
  2. Put into an 8” pie pan or oven-proof dish of some capacity.

Step 2: Topping and Baking

  1. Sauté the 1/2 cup pecans and 1/4 tsp salt in 2 Tbsp butter until nuts are lightly browned.
  2. Sprinkle over the cheese-beef mixture.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes at 350° until hot and bubbly.
  4. Serve hot with low-salt crackers or melba toast.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Assemble the dip and topping in advance, store separately in the refrigerator, and bake just before serving.
