Instructions
Step 1: Mix and Bake
- Combine the 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, 2 Tbsp milk, 1 (2 1/2 oz) dried beef, 1/4 cup green pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 Tbsp onion, and 1/2 cup sour cream and mix until well blended.
- Put into an 8” pie pan or oven-proof dish of some capacity.
Step 2: Topping and Baking
- Sauté the 1/2 cup pecans and 1/4 tsp salt in 2 Tbsp butter until nuts are lightly browned.
- Sprinkle over the cheese-beef mixture.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350° until hot and bubbly.
- Serve hot with low-salt crackers or melba toast.
💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Assemble the dip and topping in advance, store separately in the refrigerator, and bake just before serving.
