Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- Cream the 1 cup grated natural sharp cheese and 1/4 cup soft butter together in a mixing bowl until smooth and well combined.
- Add the next three ingredients: 1/2 cup sifted all purpose flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp paprika. Mix well until a cohesive dough forms.
Step 2: Assemble and Chill
- Wrap approximately 1 tsp dough around each of the 24 stuffed olives, shaping it into a neat ball so the olive is completely enclosed.
- Freeze the puffs, or refrigerate them for 4 to 5 hours before they are ready to use.
Step 3: Bake and Serve
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Bake the chilled or frozen puffs for 10 minutes until the pastry is cooked through and lightly golden.
