Instructions

Step 1: Assembly and Baking

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a baking dish, spread the 1 can refried beans with sausage evenly across the bottom.
  2. Layer the 1 whole piece extra sharp cheddar cheese and 1 to 2 cans chopped green chili evenly over the beans.
  3. Season with garlic salt or powder and dried or minced onion to taste.
  4. Bake until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly, and the edges are lightly golden.
