Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Mash

  1. Cut the 4 to 6 ripe avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).

Step 2: Season and Mix

  1. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime over the avocados and stir it in, along with garlic salt to taste.
  2. Gently fold in the 1 (4 oz) can chopped green chiles and 1/4 - 1/2 cup Pace Picante sauce, adding more picante sauce if you prefer a thinner or spicier dip.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Serve immediately with tortilla chips to prevent browning and ensure a fresh, vibrant green appearance.
