Instructions

Mixing and Shaping

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the 1 pound softened cream cheese, ¾ cup ranch dressing, 1 tbsp chopped chives, ½ tsp paprika, ½ tsp seasoning salt, and optional ½ tsp onion salt.
  2. Mix with a spatula or an electric mixer on low speed until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball. For easier handling, you can chill the mixture for 30 minutes before shaping.
  4. Spread the approx. 1 cup chopped walnuts or parsley on a plate and roll the cheese ball in the coating until it is covered on all sides.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour, or until firm and set.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze for future use.
