Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Coat

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F.
  2. In a large roasting pan, combine the 1/2 box Wheat Chex, 1/2 box Rice Chex, 1/2 box Cheerios, 1 box pretzel sticks, 1 cup pecans, and 1 can peanuts.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup melted bacon fat, 1 stick melted butter, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp celery salt, 1 tsp seasoned salt, 2 tbsp Tabasco sauce, and 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce until fully combined.
  4. Pour the seasoned sauce mixture evenly over the cereal and nut mixture in the roasting pan, tossing gently to ensure everything is evenly coated.

Step 2: Slow Roast

  1. Toast the mixture in the preheated 275°F oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
