MeasurementsIngredients
One & CupsMilk
One Stick ( Cup)Butter
SixMedium Sized Potatoes
Green Pepper
Sweet Red Pepper (or Cup Pimento)
FiveGreen Onions (with about 3 inches of green)
One TeaspoonSalt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F to 250°F.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter in the milk. Do not let it boil.
  3. Grate or grind the raw potatoes, green pepper, sweet red pepper (or pimento), and green onions.
  4. Put the grated vegetable mixture into a 1 & quart casserole dish.
  5. Pour the milk and butter mixture over the vegetables. Add the salt and stir.
  6. Bake the casserole for 4-6 hours.
  7. Add more milk if it seems necessary during baking.
