| One & Cups | Milk |
| One Stick ( Cup) | Butter |
| Six | Medium Sized Potatoes |
| Green Pepper | |
| Sweet Red Pepper (or Cup Pimento) | |
| Five | Green Onions (with about 3 inches of green) |
| One Teaspoon | Salt |
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°F to 250°F.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter in the milk. Do not let it boil.
- Grate or grind the raw potatoes, green pepper, sweet red pepper (or pimento), and green onions.
- Put the grated vegetable mixture into a 1 & quart casserole dish.
- Pour the milk and butter mixture over the vegetables. Add the salt and stir.
- Bake the casserole for 4-6 hours.
- Add more milk if it seems necessary during baking.
