One PoundGround Meat
As NeededOil (for frying)

Two Cloves (“cubes” on card)Garlic

One Large CanSolid Pack Tomatoes
Two Tall CansKidney Beans (with juice)
TeaspoonCayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. Fry one pound of ground meat in oil with chopped onion and two cloves of garlic. Break the meat into small pieces as it cooks. Salt and pepper it to taste.
  2. Add a large can of solid pack tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces in the pot and cook along with the meat for 20 minutes or so.
  3. Add two tall cans of kidney beans with their juice.
  4. Let it cook together slowly for 20 minutes.
  5. Add teaspoon of Cayenne pepper.
  6. (This dish tastes better if it stands all day or overnight).
  7. Serve with hot French or garlic bread, and a salad if you want.
