One CupUncooked Wheat Bulgur
Two TablespoonsButter
One TablespoonMinced Onion
Two CupsChicken Broth
TeaspoonOregano
TeaspoonSalt
Few GrainsPepper

Instructions

  1. Melt two tablespoons of butter in a skillet.
  2. Add one cup of uncooked wheat bulgur and one tablespoon of minced onion.
  3. Cook until the bulgur is golden.
  4. Add two cups of chicken broth and seasonings ( teaspoon oregano, teaspoon salt, a few grains of pepper).
  5. Cover and bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the bulgur is tender.
  7. Serve with chicken, lamb, or pork.
