| 1 Peck | Cling Peaches |
| 3 lbs | Light Brown Sugar |
| 1 Quart | Cider Vinegar |
| 2 oz | Stick of Cinnamon |
| Whole Cloves |
Instructions
- Use ripe but firm fruit.
- Scald & remove skins.
- Stick 3 whole cloves in each peach.
- Make a syrup of vinegar, sugar, & cinnamon.
- When boiling, add enough peaches at a time to fill a quart jar.
- Cook until tender but not broken.
- Keep repeating the whole process until you use all the peaches & syrup. (If peaches are cooked all at once, the peaches are apt to come to pieces.)
