1 canSliced Beets
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 cupVinegar
As NeededSliced Onion

Instructions

  1. Drain the juice from the can of sliced beets.
  2. Place the drained beets in a jar.
  3. In a small bowl, stir the sugar and vinegar together until the sugar begins to dissolve. Pour this mixture over the beets.
  4. Add a few slices of onion.
  5. Seal the jar and keep it in the refrigerator. For best flavor, let them marinate for at least 24 hours.
