| Measurements | Ingredients |
|---|---|
| 1 1/2 C | Sifted Self Rising Flour |
| 3 T | Shortening |
| 7 T | Cold Milk |
Instructions
- Mix salt, flour, shortening, & milk as for pie crust.
- Roll very thin & cut into 1x3” strips.
- Drop one at a time into vigorously boiling broth.
- After the last strip is dropped into the broth, allow to cook for 6 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add chicken, stir gently.
- Let stand at least 1 hour before serving.
- Warm gently to serving temp.

Dumpling Secret
Roll very thin on lightly floured board; do not stir while cooking
