1 1/2 poundsGround Beef
1 tablespoonMinced Onion
1/2 cupQuick-cooking Oats
1/2 cupMilk
1Egg, beaten
2 teaspoonsSalt
1/4 teaspoonPepper
1 (15 ounce) canKidney Beans
1 (8 ounce) canSpaghetti Sauce with Mushrooms

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients EXCEPT the spaghetti sauce and kidney beans.
  2. Press the meat mixture into a 10-inch skillet and score it into wedges.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the spaghetti sauce and the kidney beans (with their liquid).
  4. Pour the sauce and bean mixture over the meat wedges in the skillet.
  5. Cook slowly, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until the meat is done.

Note

The recipe card suggests serving this dish with a baked potato. This is a quick, one-skillet meatloaf that serves 6.
