| 1 1/2 pounds | Ground Beef |
| 1 tablespoon | Minced Onion |
| 1/2 cup | Quick-cooking Oats |
| 1/2 cup | Milk |
| 1 | Egg, beaten |
| 2 teaspoons | Salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | Pepper |
| 1 (15 ounce) can | Kidney Beans |
| 1 (8 ounce) can | Spaghetti Sauce with Mushrooms |
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients EXCEPT the spaghetti sauce and kidney beans.
- Press the meat mixture into a 10-inch skillet and score it into wedges.
- In a separate bowl, combine the spaghetti sauce and the kidney beans (with their liquid).
- Pour the sauce and bean mixture over the meat wedges in the skillet.
- Cook slowly, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until the meat is done.
Note
The recipe card suggests serving this dish with a baked potato. This is a quick, one-skillet meatloaf that serves 6.
