1 can/jar (drained)Sliced Peaches
To tasteSalt
To tastePepper
A little (from can/jar)Peach Syrup
1/2 or piecesChicken
Amount as neededButter

Instructions

  1. Cook rice until done.
  2. Place the cooked rice in the bottom of a shallow baking pan.
  3. Mix in the drained peach slices and seasonings (salt, pepper, etc.) with the rice.
  4. Add a little of the reserved peach syrup to the rice mixture. Be careful not to add too much, or the rice will be too sweet.
  5. Place the 1/2 chicken or chicken pieces on top of the rice mixture.
  6. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, butter, and any other desired seasonings.
  7. Bake at 350°F until the chicken is cooked through. The drippings from the chicken will flavor the rice and help to cut down on the sweetness from the peaches.
