Instructions
- Spread 6 chicken legs and 6 thighs lightly with Dijon-style mustard.
- Sprinkle the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Dip each piece of chicken in buttermilk.
- Then, coat each piece thoroughly with fine dry breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken pieces on a baking sheet.
- Cover the baking sheet with a sheet of foil.
- Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil.
- Increase the oven heat to 450°F.
- Bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until the chicken is golden brown and tender when tested with a fork.
