| 1 jar | Picante Sauce |
| 1 cup | Cheddar Cheese, shredded |
| To Taste | Salt |
| As Needed | Butter (for greasing pan) |
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a large, buttered baking pan.
- Salt the chicken lightly and let it set for a few minutes.
- Sauté the green, yellow, and red bell peppers. Add some sliced purple onion and continue to sauté.
- Spread the pepper and onion mixture over the chicken breasts.
- Cover everything with the jar of Picante Sauce.
- Cook for approximately 1 hour, or until the chicken is done.
- Top the dish with 1 cup of cheddar cheese and cook a little longer, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
