| Measurements | Ingredients |
|---|---|
| 4 | Hamburger Patties |
| 2 slices | Cheese |
| 1 small can | Sliced Mushrooms, drained |
| To Taste | Onion Salt |
| To Taste | Soy Sauce |
| To Taste | Celery Salt |
| To Taste | Tarragon |
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- For each packet, lay out a large sheet of aluminum foil (“silver”).
- Place one hamburger patty on the foil.
- Top the patty with half of the drained mushrooms, then one slice of cheese.
- Season to taste with onion salt, soy sauce, celery salt, and tarragon.
- Place another hamburger patty on top of the cheese.
- Wrap the aluminum foil tightly around the entire stack, sealing the edges.
- Repeat for the second packet.
- Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes, or until the hamburger is cooked through.
Note
The recipe says it serves two. The instruction to “broil for 40 minutes” is likely a typo for “bake,” as broiling for that long would burn the hamburger.
