A quick and easy retro recipe for ground beef meatballs, browned and then baked in a simple, savory sauce made from tomato soup and chili powder.

Measurements Ingredients 
1 pound Ground Beef 
1/3 cup Fine dry Bread Crumbs 
2 tablespoons Minced Onion 
1 teaspoon Salt 
3/4 teaspoon Pepper
Egg, slightly beaten 
1 can Campbell’s Tomato Soup 
2 tablespoons Shortening 
1 teaspoon Chili Powder 
1/4 cup Water 

Instructions

1.  In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, minced onion, salt, pepper, beaten egg, and 1/4 cup of the Campbell’s Tomato Soup. 2.  Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. 3.  In a large skillet, brown the meatballs in the shortening. 4.s In a separate bowl, mix the remaining tomato soup, the chili powder, and the 1/4 cup of water to create a sauce. 5.s Pour the sauce over the browned meatballs in the skillet. 6.s Cover and bake in a 350°F oven for about 30 minutes.
