1-2Onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In an open pressure cooker (lid off), brown the brisket on all sides with a little butter and the sliced onions for about 25 minutes.
  2. Season the brisket with salt.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of water, secure the lid, and bring the cooker up to 15 lbs of pressure.
  4. Cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Release pressure, open the lid, and turn the meat over.
  6. Secure the lid again, bring back to 15 lbs of pressure, and cook for another 60 minutes.

Note

The total cooking time under pressure should be about 1.5 hours (90 minutes).
