A wonderfully simple and hearty casserole, this “E-Z Casserole” bakes raw ground beef, seasonings, and frozen french fries in a creamy mushroom sauce.

1/2 poundGround Beef (raw)
1 pound packageFrozen French Fries
2 cansCream of Mushroom Soup
2/3 canMilk
1 teaspoonSalt
1/8 teaspoonLawry’s Seasoned Salt
1/8 teaspoonBlack Pepper
1/4 teaspoonAll-purpose Seasoning
OptionalOnions and Peas

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter an 8x11 inch baking dish.
  2. Lightly spread the raw ground beef in the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings (Salt, Seasoned Salt, Pepper, All-purpose Seasoning). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the ground beef.
  4. Layer the frozen French fries on top of the meat. (Add optional onions and peas here, if using).
  5. In a separate bowl, blend the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  6. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the French fries.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes.
