MeasurementsIngredients
1 lb.Ground Beef
1 pkg.Egg Noodles
2 small cansTomato Sauce
1 cartonSour Cream
1 small pkg.Cream Cheese, softened
1-2 clovesGarlic, minced
1 bunchSpring Onions, tops chopped
1 tsp.Sugar
To tasteSalt & Pepper
To tasteOther spices (e.g., oregano)
As neededGrated Cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Brown meat in a skillet. Add garlic, salt, pepper, & 1 tsp. sugar to taste.
  3. Add tomato sauce & let simmer about 20 minutes.
  4. While sauce simmers, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, softened cream cheese, and chopped spring onion tops.
  6. Layer in a baking dish: noodles, then the sour cream sauce, then the meat sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes at 325°F.
