Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, brown the ground meat. Add the chili powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped onion. Cook until the meat is done and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Heat salad oil in another pan. Briefly dip the tortillas in the hot oil, one by one, to soften them (about 30-60 seconds). Drain on paper towels.
- Fill each softened tortilla with the meat mixture and roll it up.
- Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down in the baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, heat the tomato sauce to boiling. Add 1 can of water and mix.
- Pour the tomato sauce mixture over the rolled tortillas.
- Top with grated cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
