This is a wonderfully easy no-bake pie. The secret is using melted ice cream to create a quick, creamy, and fluffy filling.

MeasurementsIngredients
1Baked and Cooled Pie Shell (9-inch)
1 PackageStrawberry Jello (Regular size)
1 & CupsHot Water
1 PintVanilla Ice Cream
1 CupDrained, Sliced Strawberries
For Serving (Optional)Whipped Cream Topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve one package of strawberry jello in one and a half cups of hot water.
  2. Add one pint of vanilla ice cream by the spoonful and stir until it is completely melted.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 15-25 minutes, or until it has thickened but is not fully set.
  4. Gently fold in one cup of drained, sliced strawberries.
  5. Pour the filling into a baked and cooled pie shell.
  6. Chill the pie for at least 2 hours, or until the filling is firm.
  7. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
