A wonderfully easy and decadent dessert, these bars feature a sweet cream cheese filling baked between two layers of flaky crescent dough.

| 2 (8 oz) pkgs | Cream Cheese, softened |
| 1 cup | Sugar |
| 1 | Egg, separated |

| 1 cup | Powdered Sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | Milk |
| Few drops | Vanilla |
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9x13 inch dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the dish, pinching the seams together.
- In a bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Spread this mixture over the bottom crust.
- Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top, pinching the seams and sides to seal.
- Lightly beat the reserved egg white and brush it over the top layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the dessert cool completely.
- For the icing, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and a few drops of vanilla. Drizzle over the cooled bars.
Note
The recipe requires two cans of crescent rolls, one for the bottom crust and one for the top.
