Instructions
- The Day Before: In a large bowl, mix together the cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple with its juice, and sugar.
- Cover and let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
- Just Before Serving: Add the mini marshmallows, chopped pecans, and thick-sliced bananas to the chilled fruit mixture.
- Fold gently to combine and serve immediately.
Note
Adding the bananas and marshmallows at the last minute is key to keeping the bananas fresh and the marshmallows from getting too soft.
