Fruit Jello Layers

2 pkgsStrawberry Jello
1 cupBoiling Water
1 large canCrushed Pineapple, undrained
3Mashed Bananas
1 cupChopped Nuts
2 pkgsFrozen Strawberries, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello powder in 1 cup of boiling water.
  2. Stir in the crushed pineapple (with juice), mashed bananas, chopped nuts, and thawed frozen strawberries.
  3. Pour half of this mixture into a large flat dish (9x13 inch pan).
  4. Refrigerate until jelled and firm.
  5. Carefully spread the sour cream over the set Jello layer.
  6. Gently pour the remaining fruit mixture over the sour cream.
  7. Refrigerate for several more hours, or until completely firm.
