Jello Layers

MeasurementsIngredients
2 pkgsStrawberry Jello
2 cupsBoiling Water
2 (10 oz) pkgFrozen Strawberries
1 pintWhipping Cream, whipped
1/2 - 2 cupsCrushed Pineapple, drained
2 or 3 lg.Bananas, diced
1 cupNuts, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello powder in the boiling water.
  2. Add the frozen strawberries and stir until they thaw and the mixture cools and begins to thicken.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream, drained pineapple, diced bananas, and chopped nuts.
  4. Pour half of this mixture into an 8x8x2 inch pan and refrigerate until firm.
  5. Once the first layer is set, carefully spread the sour cream over the top.
  6. Gently pour the remaining Jello mixture over the sour cream.
  7. Refrigerate for several more hours, or until completely firm.
