2 CupsApples - Cut & Peeled
1/4 TbspLemon Juice
1/4 CupBrown Sugar
1/4 tspCinnamon
Topping:
1/2 CupFlour
3/4 CupBrown Sugar
6 TbspChilled Butter
1 CupInstant Oat Flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. For the Topping: In a bowl, mix the flour and 3/4 cup brown sugar. Cut in the chilled butter until crumbly. Stir in the instant oat flakes.
  3. For the Filling: In a separate bowl, mix the apples, lemon juice, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Press half of the topping mixture into the bottom of a buttered baking dish.
  5. Spread the apple mixture on top.
  6. Cover the apples with the rest of the topping mixture.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
