Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the apples, cinnamon, white sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, and salt. Spread this mixture into a greased baking dish.
  3. For the Topping: In a separate bowl, combine the nuts, butter, brown sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apple mixture.
  5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbly.
