Instructions

For the Crust

  1. In a food processor, combine the flour, sugar, lemon zest, and salt. Pulse a few times to combine.
  2. Cut the chilled butter and lard into small pieces and add them to the flour mixture.
  3. Pulse until the mixture gets crumbly.
  4. Adding one tablespoon at a time, add 1 to 3 tablespoons of ice water, pulsing until the dough just comes together.
  5. Form the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Assembly (Inferred)

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Place your desired amount of frozen fruit in a 9-inch baking dish.
