Instructions
- Wash, trim, and puree the strawberries.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the lemon juice and let it soften for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, boil the sugar and water for 5 minutes to create a syrup.
- Add the softened gelatin to the hot syrup and stir until dissolved.
- Once the syrup has cooled, stir in the strawberry puree.
- Freeze the mixture until solid.
- Remove from the freezer, break into chunks, and beat with a mixer until fluffy.
- Return to the freezer and freeze again until firm.
