A fun, no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and a creamy vanilla pudding mixture, often served in a flower pot to resemble dirt.

MeasurementsIngredients
1 PackageOreo Cookies (or similar chocolate sandwich cookies)
1 Stick (1/2 Cup)Butter, softened
8 OuncesCream Cheese, softened
1 CupPowdered Sugar (Confectioners’ Sugar)
3 CupsMilk
2 Small PackagesInstant Vanilla Pudding Mix
12 OuncesCool Whip (or other whipped topping), Thawed
OptionalSilk Flowers (for decoration)
OptionalGummy Worms (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by hand until fine.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the milk and instant vanilla pudding mix. Let it set for a few minutes.
  4. Combine the prepared pudding, the Cool Whip, and the cream cheese mixture. Mix well.
  5. Layer the ingredients in an 8” plastic flower pot: start with a layer of crushed Oreos, then a layer of the cream mixture. Repeat, ending with a top layer of crushed Oreos.
  6. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  7. Garnish with silk flowers and/or gummy worms before serving.
