A rich, brownie-like bar cookie loaded with finely chopped pecans. These are baked in a square pan lined with waxed paper and cut into small squares while warm.

| 1 oz | Chocolate |
| 1/4 C | Butter |
| 2 Large | Eggs |
| 1 C | Sugar |
| 1/4 t | Salt |
| 1 1/2 t | Vanilla |
| 1/4 C | Milk |
| 1 C | Flour |
| 1 C | Pecans, chopped fine |
Instructions
- Melt chocolate + butter together - mix well.
- Beat eggs until light & lemon colored, then gradually beat in sugar.
- Stir in salt, vanilla, milk.
- Gradually add flour. Stir in pecans.
- Line a buttered 8x8x2 pan with wax paper. Butter paper.
- Bake 350° - 30 m.
- Cut into 1 1/2” squares before removing from pan.
- Store in tightly covered container.
