Instructions
- Butter an 8x8x2 inch pan. Sprinkle the bottom and sides of the buttered pan with confectioners’ sugar.
- Using a food chopper or food processor, process the pitted dates, seedless raisins, and currants until they form a thick, uniform paste.
- In a medium bowl, combine the fruit paste, peanut butter, and condensed milk. Mix well with a sturdy spoon or your hands until thoroughly combined.
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Smooth the surface.
- Sprinkle the top generously with more powdered sugar.
- Chill in the refrigerator until firm (at least 2 hours).
- Once firm, cut into squares to serve.
