1 CupPitted Dates
½ CupSeedless Raisins
½ CupCurrants
1 CupPeanut Butter
¼ CupSweetened Condensed Milk
For Pan & ToppingConfectioners’ Sugar (Powdered Sugar)

Instructions

  1. Butter an 8x8x2 inch pan. Sprinkle the bottom and sides of the buttered pan with confectioners’ sugar.
  2. Using a food chopper or food processor, process the pitted dates, seedless raisins, and currants until they form a thick, uniform paste.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the fruit paste, peanut butter, and condensed milk. Mix well with a sturdy spoon or your hands until thoroughly combined.
  4. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Smooth the surface.
  5. Sprinkle the top generously with more powdered sugar.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until firm (at least 2 hours).
  7. Once firm, cut into squares to serve.
