Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8x8 or 9x9 inch square baking pan.
- In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a larger bowl, beat the melted butter, sugar, and eggs together until well combined.
- Add the sifted dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped nuts and dates.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the pan cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
Note
