Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the finely crushed vanilla wafer crumbs, sifted confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, and finely chopped walnuts.
- Stir in the brandy and light corn syrup. Mix well until a stiff, sticky dough forms. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little water (up to 1 ½ teaspoons).
- Shape the mixture into ¾-inch balls.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat completely.
- Store in a tightly covered container. For the best flavor, let them age for a day or two before serving.
