A quick and easy stovetop recipe for classic candied walnuts. The nuts are toasted in a buttery glaze of brown sugar and cinnamon for a simple, addictive treat.

Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until the sugar begins to dissolve.
- Add the walnuts to the pan and stir continuously for 3-4 minutes, until the nuts are well-coated and fragrant.
- Using a slotted spoon, quickly remove the walnuts from the pan and spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet to cool.
- Allow them to cool for at least 1 hour until the sugar coating is hard. Break apart any clusters that may have formed.
Note
The original recipe card did not specify an amount for brown sugar. 1/2 cup has been added, which is a standard ratio for this quantity of nuts and will create a nice, even glaze.
