1 (21 oz) CanComstock Sliced Apples (Apple Pie Filling)
1/4 CupBrown Sugar
1 boxSpiced Cake Mix
1/2 CupChopped Pecans
2 Sticks (1 Cup)Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease a 9x13 inch Pyrex dish or similar baking pan.
  2. Pour the can of sliced apples into the bottom of the dish and spread them out evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the apples.
  4. Sprinkle the dry spiced cake mix evenly over the layer of apples and sugar.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top of the cake mix.
  6. Slice the two sticks of butter into thin pats and arrange them evenly to cover the entire top of the cake.
  7. Bake for 1 hour. Serve warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
