Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Melt the butter and pour it into the bottom of a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
- Arrange the frozen blintzes in a single layer on top of the melted butter.
- In a separate bowl, blend the eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, salt, and optional orange juice. Beat well.
- Pour the sour cream mixture evenly over the blintzes.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
- Serve warm with desired toppings such as powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, or extra sour cream.
Note
For a smaller batch using 6 to 8 blintzes, cut all other ingredients in half and use a smaller baking dish (such as an 8x8 pan).
