| 1 Package (of 6) | English Muffins |
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler.
- In a bowl, combine the grated cheddar, finely diced uncooked bacon, finely chopped green onions, cooking oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well. (This mixture can be made ahead and kept in the refrigerator).
- Split the six English muffins in half.
- Spread the cheese mixture over each of the twelve muffin halves, covering them to the sides.
- Place the muffin halves on a broiler pan and broil about 4 inches from the heat for about 8 minutes, or until the topping is bubbly, browned, and the bacon is cooked through.
- Serve immediately while hot. For smaller appetizers, you can cut the rounds into wedges.
