Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the loaf of French bread into 1-inch slices, but do not cut all the way through the bottom crust.
  3. Finely chop the scallions (both white and green parts).
  4. In a bowl, combine the room-temperature butter, dried parsley, chives, finely chopped scallions, dill, and salt. Mix well to create a seasoned butter.
  5. Spread the seasoned butter generously between the slices of the French bread.
  6. Wrap the entire loaf in foil.
