| 1/2 c. | Sifted Corn meal |
| 1 c. | Boiling H2O |
| 1/2 c. | Milk |
| 1 | Egg, well beaten |
| ”hunck” | Butter (approx. 1-2 Tbsp) |
| 1 tsp | Salt |
Instructions
- To a half c. sifted meal, add slowly while stirring, 1 C. boiling water.
- Place on slow heat and stir well for several minutes.
- Add butter & salt to mixture.
- Remove from fire, add 1/2 c. milk & 1 egg, well beaten.
- Put in greased baking dish & bake in moderate oven (350°F) 20 minutes.
