MeasurementsIngredients
1/2 c.Sifted Corn meal
1 c.Boiling H2O
1/2 c.Milk
1Egg, well beaten
”hunck”Butter (approx. 1-2 Tbsp)
1 tspSalt

Instructions

  1. To a half c. sifted meal, add slowly while stirring, 1 C. boiling water.
  2. Place on slow heat and stir well for several minutes.
  3. Add butter & salt to mixture.
  4. Remove from fire, add 1/2 c. milk & 1 egg, well beaten.
  5. Put in greased baking dish & bake in moderate oven (350°F) 20 minutes.
