1 tspGround Cardamom

Wet Ingredients:
2Eggs
1 CupYoghurt or Sour Cream
1 CupButtermilk
¼ CupHoney
¼ CupOil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cardamom, and salt.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, beat the eggs. Whisk in the honey and oil, followed by the yoghurt (or sour cream) and buttermilk.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
  4. Stir just until everything is lightly mixed. A few lumps in the batter are okay.
  5. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately ¼ cup for each pancake.
  7. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges are dry, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
