Instructions
Part 1: Make the Turmeric Paste
- In a small saucepan, combine the turmeric powder and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until a thick paste is formed.
- Let the paste cool, then transfer it to a small jar. It can be stored in the refrigerator for later use.
Part 2: Make the Golden Milk
- In a saucepan, combine one cup of milk, ¼ teaspoon of the prepared turmeric paste, and 1 teaspoon of almond oil.
- Stir over low heat, bringing the mixture just to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey to your desired level of sweetness.
- For a frothy top, carefully pour the hot mixture into a blender and blend for a few seconds.
- Pour into a mug, sprinkle with cinnamon, and enjoy.
