Part 1: Make the Turmeric Paste

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the turmeric powder and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until a thick paste is formed.
  3. Let the paste cool, then transfer it to a small jar. It can be stored in the refrigerator for later use.

Part 2: Make the Golden Milk

  1. In a saucepan, combine one cup of milk, ¼ teaspoon of the prepared turmeric paste, and 1 teaspoon of almond oil.
  2. Stir over low heat, bringing the mixture just to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in honey to your desired level of sweetness.
  4. For a frothy top, carefully pour the hot mixture into a blender and blend for a few seconds.
  5. Pour into a mug, sprinkle with cinnamon, and enjoy.

Warning

This recipe suggests using raw milk. Consuming raw or unpasteurized milk may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Pasteurized milk is a safe alternative.
